Mediation Funding and Fees
Mediation is significantly cheaper and
quicker than the legal route, often saving both time and money. Most clients
reach agreements within 2–3 months compared to over a year through court.
You may be eligible for up to £500 in funding through the Government Family Mediation Voucher Scheme.
This covers
part of the cost of joint mediation sessions related to child arrangements and can be arranged for you by an accredited mediator.
Standard costs per person:
- MIAM / 1-2-1 meeting – £100 (approx. 45 minutes)
- Joint Mediation Session (a shared space) – £75 per hour. Duration is normally 2 hours
- Shuttle Mediation – £90 per hour (clients kept separate). Duration is normally 2 hours
- The preparation items are not costs for each client, they can be shared between both or paid by one client
- Preparation of Parenting Plan – £150
- Preparation of Open Financial Statement – £150
- Preparation of Memorandum of Understanding – £200
- MIAM Certificate / Court Form (C100 / Form A) – £80
- All communications such as phone calls and emails are included in the above costs
Sessions are paid individually, with no
hidden fees. Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are fully refunded
or rescheduled.
